How To Make Reed Diffuser Oil

Reed diffusers are popular way to add a constant fragrance to any space without the need for heat or flame. Reed diffusers are simple, elegant, and effective, perfect for homes, offices, and shops. By creating your own line, you can cater to the preferences and styles of your customers, creating unique scent combinations and packaging. We'll guide you through the process of making your very own reed diffuser oil, step-by-step.

What You Need Make Your Own Reed Diffuser

Before you get started, make sure you have all the necessary materials on hand. Here's what you'll need:

- A glass or ceramic container with a narrow opening at the top

- Essential oil / Fragrance oil of your choice

- Di-Propylene Glycol (DPG) or Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether (DPM)

- A set of reed sticks, Measuring cup or scale, Mixing bowl & Stirring spoon

Step-by-Step Guide to Making Your Reed Diffuser:

Select Your Bottle, Cap and Reeds:

Choose a bottle that fits the aesthetic you want. Consider the size of the room where the diffuser will be used when selecting your bottle size. Pair it with the right amount of reed sticks. Typically, 4-8 sticks are sufficient.

Mix Your Fragrance:

Decide on the Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils. You can create custom blends or use a single oil based on what sensory experience you want to deliver. In our offer you can find 200 fragrance oils and 100 essential oils. 

On Essential Oils, Fragrance Oils websites you can download IFRA documents, where under category 10a ( fragrance oils)  you can find the maximum % which can be used in the blend with DPM or DPG.

Assemble the Diffuser:

Fill the bottle with your fragrance blend. Close the bottle with the lid, add the diffuser sticks  

Packaging and Branding:

Design labels and packaging that reflect your brand's identity and the unique character of each fragrance. Ensure the packaging is appealing and provides all necessary information like scent notes, ingredients, and usage instructions.
